Track is one of the most rewarding sports to photograph. You have a lot of latitude in what you can do with the images. I like to zero in on a particular athlete and try and get those great expressions that show the amount of energy and effort they put into the performance. The biggest tip I think I could give you is watch your backgrounds and angles. Nothing ruins a track photo quicker than a cluttered in focus background. Use an aperture that will blur the background and try to get angles that minimize the background as much as possible. You might try lower shooting angles they can sometimes be very effective and help to eliminate background clutter.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
