    High School Softball (Finally!)

    The high school softball (and baseball) seasons are finally starting here... White jerseys a little blown.. first one ISO 320 the rest ISO 250 all at 1/3200 with the 1.4 extender.

    Before I post some pics, I hate facemasks in photos, there's enough of them in hockey :P

    3. Nothing really happening in this picture other than defensive form, but wanted to see how sharp I could get photos in the range near 280 mm.

    4. Our previous baseball coaches daughter.. easily the best bunting form on the team

    5. I tried some at F4.5 after most with F4..and did I mention I hate facemasks?

    6. The girl expected to carry the pitching load this season...

    I like the bunt shot and agree totally on the face mask thing. We just have to make the best of it. Tha last on of the pitcher is an eye catcher as well.
    Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

    Last photo is wonderful, nice clean background and nice action including the shoe being dug into the dirt.

    The last one is good I wish there was more light on her eyes though I doubt they'd let you send an assistant out with a reflector!

    get the EXIF Viewer plugin if you use Firefox.

    # Exposure Time (1 / Shutter Speed) = 1/3200 second ===> 0.00031 second
    # Lens F-Number / F-Stop = 45/10 ===> ƒ/4.5
    # Exposure Program = manual control (1)
    # ISO Speed Ratings = 250
    # Exposure Bias (EV) = 0/1 ===> 0
    # Metering Mode = pattern / multi-segment (5)
    # Flash = Flash did not fire, compulsory flash mode
    # Focal Length = 155/1 mm ===> 155 mm
