High ISO Volleyball with Noise Filter

I took the 7D to a high school volleyball match the other night and cranked up the ISO to get some noise in the snaps. I then ran them through Neat Image, which I recently discovered online. I'm still tweaking the settings on the program and ran these through the default settings. I was pretty impressed by the program although the images can appear a tad oversharpened but again, I'm sure with some tweaking that can be adjusted.

Re: High ISO Volleyball with Noise Filter

There is a slider on neat image that allows you to sharpen photos after 'cleaning'.. if it's set at anything but 0 it could oversharpen your photos,.. learned that when I started getting volleyball and basketball photos with obvious oversharpening. As mentioned in the other thread, the free version of neat image .. while it doesn't watermark like some other noise reduction free versions, it only saves in low resolution format.
