Nice! I have a lot to learn in this arena.

Did you use your 300mm a lot for these shots? How many fps are you shooting?

I shot girls soccer a couple weeks ago at 4 fps. Just didn't to be enough. They hired me back to shoot a big game this Thurs. Thinking of going to the max fps. Thoughts on this? (you know I want to be lazy)
    It's not blurry. It's bokeh.

Hey Julie, Thanks for the look and the comments. I always shot with two cameras as you know. The D700 had the 300 f2.8 mounted with a 1.4 extender on it and I was shooting at 8 fps. the other camera the D7000 was equipped with the 80-200 mm f2.8 and it was at 5 fps. Yes to me anything less that 8 fps is to slow. I use the longer lens because the action moves back and forth up the field and you can not follow the action moving up and down the sidelines as you can in football and I'm shooting from a fixed position most of the time.

Thank you for the explanation on all accounts. I will bump up my fps. I know I missed a lot of action.
