    Girls HS Soccer

Put the 300 2.8L on a monopod and shot on my knees. ISO varied from 160+ as the sun went down, aperture priority of 2.8 and I opened it up 1/3 to 2/3 of a stop.

Lower viewpoint makes a difference, do you use kneepads ?
I've thought about pads for shooting lower down from tarmac.

Gotta love that lower perspective. Thats how I shoot my soccer/baseball/some MTB.

SW - I've got some carpet layers type of kneepads I bought from a hardware store a year or so ago that I use. They make a huge difference, especially when I'm shooting 6+ hours of soccer in a day. I think they were only $15 for the pair as well.

With the spring weather and soft green grass kneeling wasn't a problem. However, at my age, getting up was : )

    Nice pics....

I like #1. That is one I think would make a great sportrait for the wall. Colors looks great and the prospective is nice.

I use a Walkstool without the legs extended to park my butt on and I'm only down on 1 knee. Seems to make it a bit easier getting back up.
