GBB County Semi Finals

Maybe the best venue in the county to strobe from. This is FDU-Florham, a small D3 College in Northern NJ. They have a track that runs above the court. They have power outlets every 25-30 feet. I strobed direct, only using 2 and crossing them just above the key.

Nice captures and good color. Since you mention outlets I assume you were using monoblocks? These type strobes gain in flash duration as the power level is reduced. Since the 40D has a max 1/250 sync speed, I think I would bounce these at a higher power level which would help stop the action and eliminate most of the shadows. Just a minor observation but really great work on these!

I always bounce for any basketball game, but since this place is so vast, and after taking advice from my partner, I went half power & direct.

I will bounce next week in the finals.
