Another Friday night game shot in the caverns of a high school football stadium.

    Re: Friday night football

Hey Chris, I like the brightness to these. Nice action, I especially like the first one. What setup were you using (flash on camera?) if so what setting. I really want to get some varsity night games but don't have much experience with the night stuff.

Thanks. I don't use a flash. I shoot at aperture priority (2.8), ISO of 1250, RAW and a full stop underexposed so I can get a faster shutter speed. I then use Digital Photo Professional to brighten the photos the one stop I darked them when shooting. Thanks for the comments.

There doesn't seem to be much noise, do you run them through something (noise ninja / neat image) to remove noise?

I don't have Noise Ninja. The noise usually isn't too bad with the 30D at 1250 but images at 1600 can get a bit noisy so that's why I usually don't shoot at that ISO. I will either use Unsharp Mask or the Noise Reduction Filter in Photoshop Elements to reduce a bit of noise.
