This photo really tells the story, especially when you see the sign she is holding, then the scoreboard behind her. It was one of my old high schools 5 trips to the RCA Dome for the state finals in football, they lost all 5... a state record for futility
Even losing as bad as they were the cheerleaders tried to keep spirits up though. Gotta give the kids credit. This team probably shouldn't have made it to the Dome that year, they had a lousy early season, then went on a seven game winning streak. They have had a 28 year long winning record streak, finishing over .500 every year in those 28 years with only two different coaches. They once had a 35 game home winning streak (longest in the state) that started following the tragic death of their first coach in a car accident. No one wants to play them at home, only losing five or 6 games there in the lat 10 years.
