    From Football and Lacrosse to...Golf??

Hey guys. It's been a while since I posted any action shots. On Monday, I got to go to the Lake Michigan Conference's Women's Golf Tournament at the Eagle Creek Golf Course in Hortonville, WI. This was my first golf tournament and the first event that I shot as an intern for the Sports Information Director (paperwork hasn't been filed yet, but that is just a technicality).

The girl in the above picture shot a 26 on that hole and had a total score of 185 for the day. When I went into the SID's office today, the signed copies of the picture hung everywhere.

I wasn't too thrilled with shooting Golf, but its not too bad. I was given free reign to go where I pleased on this course to take pictures and I was even allowed to take a cart by the course owner so I could get around to all the different groups. I don't think I will have that option at the next golf meet that I go to because it is going to be at Whistling Straits.

Sorry masdog... this ain't sports in my book .... for some reason I can't get into golf, and I won't shoot if for the paper either. It's the only thing I won't shoot, I'll take the day off.

I realize that you don't like golf, JS. It is rather boring to watch, and even more boring to photograph. But I still rank it higher than cheerleading.

    Poor gal had a 26 on one hole?. . . . and she's on the golf team? . . . I admire her perseverance.

it looks like you're oversharpening a bit, especially on the second shot. Not that much oversharpening, but enough its noticable.
