    Football is a girls game....???

Well it sure was this little girls game last night. This young lady did it all for her flag football team. She ran the reverse she she ran up the middle and she ran around end. She scored three of her teams four touchdowns and she collected her share of tackles on the other side of the ball. And of yeah she is only 9.

Thanks you Homer. I love the fact that they have the opportunity to match up with the guys at this level. This little gal has some great genes. Her dad was an out standing multi sport athlete in high school here and went on to an all conference college career at Morehead State University in baseball. He was drafted out of college and spent several summers playing minor league ball before coming home to start a family. Oh and he was one of the coaches on the sideline for his daughter team.

Nice pictures. I really enjoy seeing girls "get their due" as far as sports go. It encourages other girls to play and try things that were once "no girls allowed".

And I second JETAs comment about seeing the boys in the dust.
