    Mule,
Very nice pics. I love the action, but on some of these, I would not have cropped of body parts, but that is just my opinion. I really like the QB one.

    Good job...

Nice shots. A couple of them are a bit too tight though. Is that the way you shot them or did you crop them. If you shot them that way, there's not much you can do about that.

I have to say something about the look on the face of the lineman in that third shot. It looks as if he is REALLY enjoying something that is going on outside of the frame.

What a difference a day makes! In other words, your daytime shots are very nice. Shooting night games has so many more challenges involving lighting, in terms of temperature & amount. I really like the way you were able to freeze the action in these shots. Keep up the good work!

    Thanks for the comments.

Seniornikonman, the third shot represented a key field goal. I was fortunate to be able to catch both the kicker and lineman watching the ball clear the goal posts.

JSPhoto, the facemask was caught. It was an interception and at the time the defender caught the ball the receiver grabbed his facemask out of frustration,

Bleidner, I agree. Daytime games are the best. I can catch action and use a longer lens. I encourage others to check out small college football games. There is great action and most schools are happy to have photographers right next to the field if you can share a few photos with the school's PR folks.

Here are a couple more of my favorites.

One more question, how do the colors look? I've been using a laptop to work these images and wonder whether they are too bright on a quality monitor. Do these seem OK to you?

As for being too bright, IMO the only one where I might say that is in the red uniforms of the first of the two photos posted on the 23rd. Other than that, I think the colors are excellent!
