    Flag Football...

It's not your normal 11-on-11 football that you see on the weekends, but it was an opportunity to test my 20D. My fraternity had an intramural flag football game on Tuesday evening against the school's baseball team. It wasn't very close - a stingy defense and great work on special teams pushed the Fraternity team (in Red) to an early lead that they never relinquished.

I love the new camera. The extra frames per second come in handy, and the shutter lag seems almost non-existent.

The guy in picture #2 is a very gifted athlete. I have a picture of him from a flag football game last year making a stellar catch over three people.

Hey some nice catches her. I like 2 and 3 a lot. Sure makes a difference when you get rid of that shutter lag doesn't it.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

    Re: Flag Football...

in my opinion, 2, 5, and 6 are the best. in 3, the other players are too disracting. The player in the yellow is eye-catching, but you can't tell what he's doing. It draws too much away from where the real action is. These also need some horizon adjustments, as some of them are crooked. I love the color on 6, and the contrast. that's what shooting near the end of the day gets you.

Absolutely, OT. Less noticable shutter lag makes for more dramatic images.

Good god, the guy in the 2nd pic I hope plays some sort of sport.

I didn't know you got the 20D Masdog. I'm dying to hear what you think!

My husband sent me an email the other day with a link to a camera asking if this is the type of camera I'm thinking of. It was the 1D. I know I need to get out of my rebel, cuz it does nothing more then piss me off, but I'm not sure if I need a 1D.
    It's not blurry. It's bokeh.
