    Dungeon Ball

    After last weeks game and this weeks one again in dungeons I'm actively looking for a new lens, or flash or something

    Ouch! Thats as bad as where I normally shoot....if it makes you feel any better I'll be in a dungeon tohight, not that nice new gym I was in yesterday

    Not really, like I said in one of your posts. There were lights in there that changed color, like the ballast was going out in some of them, they would shut off turn back on, in general screwing with me once I had my settings right the colors would change again and a light would flash up or down.

    This situation is the main reason I went to remote flashes for HS BB. Our gyms have relatively good lights now, but before they put in the new lights last year I was struggling with the same cycling issues. Now, I could care less what lighting the gym has since I can control the light that my camera sees.

    Thats why I had to correct one person in another thread, because the lighting can change, and without warning. I had a similar problem as you a couple weeks ago with the ballast going bad, it shut a set of lights off, not just the one that was bad, dead center in the gym, talk about tricky shooting, it was either dark or extremly bright, no inbetween and this was at our best lit gym in the county.
