Downhill Mountain Bike Racing

This past weekend I was shooting for a new local cycling magazine call Luv 2 Bike at the St. Patty's Day Feast at Bootleg Canyon. I also sent a few that I really like to VeloNews we'll see if they like them enough to print them or put them on the website.

Saturday was the Super D (long freeride with a little climbing) event followed by the main Downhill event on Sunday. It was a ton of fun hiking all over the mountain while wishing I could be a more than one place at a time. I am a little disappointed that I didn't any finish line shots since they only had about one third of there expected entrants and I only made about a quarter of a mile from the finish when the last competitor came through.

Most of my best shots have been submitted to the magazine -- once it goes to print I'll show them off. These are kind of the Best of the Rest shots.
