    Does this hybrid monopod/tripod exist?

I'm trying to find the best camera support that I could get into a pro ballgame without a hassle. What I'd like would be a really small tripod with a long vertical exension. By small tripod, I mean the feet would be maybe 18-24" across. The vertical extension would be at my eye level when I'm sitting, so maybe 4 feet off the ground. If it were designed for just this, it would be really compact and wouldn't bother people in adjacent seats, but would be more stable than a monopod. Does it exist? Thanks for any tips.

Is this the type of support you're looking for?

Thanks for the tip-- yes, that's about what I was thinking. I wish it were a little cheaper...

just remember...if you buy a good monopod now, you won't have to waste money on the cheap one you'll have to get rid of when you decide to buy a good one down the road. THat's why i bought a monopod that supports 22 lbs.

Yup, you get what you pay for when it comes to camera supports!
