I took advantage of the split practice and took some shots of the Elite/Pros. I know most people don't like static shots, but those were done for me or friends. I have to give my wife her props for getting a great shot of me in the last one. Let me know what you think.

You probably already know this, but just in case - set your flash to fire at the end of the exposure instead of at the beginning and the 'trails' will go off the back of the rider instead of the front. - TF

Yeah I do that sometimes too, but honestly I like this look better. Maybe it's because I usually put my flashes off-camera. Although there is a way to trick the camera into using 2nd curtain sync with off-camera flash. I just haven't actually tried other than in my living room.

I find this 1st curtain look makes me think the rider is going backwards !
