    Daytona 500

I am leaving for the drive to Florida in about 20 minutes. Going to take us a little over 2 days to get there since we're stopping for rest breaks for the kids.

We have our seats in the Seagrave Tower directly across from the exit from pit road so theres a decent oppertunity for some good shots form that location. We should also have a good view of the entir track from there.

Is anyone else going to be there for the 500? If so, shoot me a PM and maybe we can meet for a beer in the Fanzone before the race or something.

I am also taking my wife on a hot air Baloon ride for Valentines day at Sunrise so I am hoping for some really nice sunrise shots as we take off that morning.

Laptop onboard and a Wifi connection at the house we rented so I'll post the pics when they're ready to see.

Well I can't say I am surprised JS after the year you've had so far.... but it would've been nice to buy you a beer to take your mind off it.

We're sitting in Atlanta tonight and we'll be in Orlando tomorrow. Nice scenery on the way in the Tenn. Mountains and the rolling hills in Kentuky. I've ot a few nice landscapes to post in the nature forum once I finish the post work on them.

    Good luck with the truck.

Turns out I'll be doing teh Richard Petty Experience at Walt Disney World Speedway this week so I should have some nice racing shots before teh race =)
