The D300 does hockey

So are you a total Nikon man now? I always like your hockey stuff. I would imagine it's a difficult sport to shoot. I've never had the opportunity. Not much hockey in Kentucky.

Nice work as always. I didn't know you had switched. Hope the D300 is getting it done for you. (looks like it here at least) I feel your pain with the long days right now. It's been real busy here with all the holiday BB tournaments going on. We don't have any hockey around my end of the state and even if we did I don't know when I'd find time. Maybe I'll have occasion to shoot some though, looks like it would be fun.

yep, totally Nikon now, and I am loving it. I just need to get a vertical grip on my d300 and I'll be better. The long hours with having to reach up and over the body for the shutter release is very arduous. I was shooting with a 300mm f/4 most of the weekend, and it makes it a bit more difficult to keep up than with the 300 2.8 - the AF is a little slower.

Great job on these, very sharp and bright. I haven't had the opportunity to shoot any hockey, maybe one of these days.
