Customized hydration backpack

Ray: nice idea and implementation. I've used a small camelbak for hydration and a waist pack for the camera gear (not very successfully). This is a lot cheaper than a Lowepro Rover (the waterproof one that has a bladder, forgot the name) and a lot simpler than my two pack solution.

I looked at the Dry Zone Rover but it's huge for starters. I'm not nearly big enough to use a pack like that for riding. Then there's the often reported issue with the special zipper being difficult to use. The one I looked at had that difficulty. I should've mentioned that I do put the bladder in a plastic bag just in case it leaks. If this is too big, you could also use the Tamrac Adventure 6, but I thought that would be a tight fit for the bladder. It also depends on how much gear you might ever want to take. I normally only take the camera w/lens and 1 flash as I know that I'll rarely have time to setup the flash off-camera. It's nice to have that option though, when I know I'll have the time. One of things I really like about this setup is that it's really quick to get the camera in and out. This is important for me since my friends tend to be a bit impatient.
