    Contact...OUCH!

Got this one Friday night during a triple header Ok, it was double header baseball and one softball game right next to each other... nice scheduling there
He was Ok, well, probably until he saw todays paper as they used it not once but twice. A small one on the front page thats says "Marauders ________ takes one for the team but the Marauders inflicted the most pain, winning a double header from Rushville". They did put a hurting on Rushville though, winning 12-2 and 13-3  The batter was OK, he scored a couple minutes later on a double by a D1 Purdue recruit.

lol, yup, hard to see that white ball on the white uni. He took it all in stride, but I am sure he got a nice bruise out of it. Anyway for those of you having trouble locating the ball look by the belt and elbow.

Thanks brmill26 & lori11 - it's not often you get a batter hit by pitch....but thats two in two weeks for me now.

Yeah, it could have been, he was lucky it didn't get his arm or elbow. He did play in the second game.

Thanks  It's all in the timing, and once in a while you get lucky, or in this case, REAL lucky. This was the only hit batter in the doubleheader so to catch it at all was fortunate.

Great job, to bad you didn't get shots of the fight after words (I'm sure they don't fight like they do in the MLB, in HS baseball)

John you went and did it again I'm impressed and in awe of that shot, I think you have proved that you are a Master of timing.

Fortunately there wasn't any fight...automatic ejection and neither team could afford to loose anyone....and it wouldn't just be the rest of the day, they woiuld lose them for several games.

Age and experience is what it is all about... or at least life it is...

These are great... I cannot wait until it is warmer here in Michigan so I can get out and shoot some baseball games of the local kids in the neighborhood..

Thanks I'm sure you'll get some like it, although it took two years before I got my HBP and it wasn't too hot. This is the first time though I had 3 in a season.
