    Catching the catch.....

Well OT had an off day and I had an "on" day. It was one of those days where I got almost every catch shot I tried to get. The opposing pitcher was so easy to time that I also wound up with 4 ball on the bat shots. Anyway, here are six catches, well 5 and one miss. The one that was missed I shot through the fence behind the catcher and it's the center fielder who misplayed it (and daughter of a friend of mine. At least I got het catching one though earlier in the game. The last shot was a great catch of a line drive that this girl managed to chase down and snag.

BTW OT, notice these girls on the one team are wearing pants and not shorts..... I found out it's up to the schools on what the girls wear...last year they had shorts.

    Re: Catching the catch.....

I first saw these in the gallery and my first reaction was boy John had a good day. You were sure on with the timing today. The first one is my favorite of the lot and the miss in center is sweet. How much of crop on that one? Long way to shot behind the catcher to center field.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Thanks OT and Beamer. Yeah, it's cropped a lot OT, in the original you see the catcher and others. It was one of the longer hits of the day too.
