    Canadian Drift Pro finals

It was time for the final event of the season. The cars we're looking like they've been through a war and since this was round 8 most of them had been into a wall at one time or another. since even the pro's at drifting events seem to run on shoe string budgets it was not surprising to see the amount of damage they carried in to the final event of the year.

Even still these were some of the best looking drift cars I have seen in a very long time. There were mostly 2 camps with Nissan 240's and Infinity 350 G's filling out the field... with a sample of Toyota's to round it out.

Here's my top 5 favourites from the day:

    3rd for me, too.
Though the 5th has a hidden story in that rear end damage.
I'm not a fan of the diagonal images, but that's personal prejudice.
I'd really like #1 if it was the right way up

Thanks for the comments guys. Sorry the diagonal slant is such an eye sore =P /giggle.

I actually shot most of those angled shots that way and tried to straighten them out in post a bit as my angles were too severe even for my liking. It just happens that the ones I liked the most out of the day all ended up slanted. Only about 30% of my shots are on a slant with 30% being in portrait style and the rest are normal landscape layout. I try and switch it up while I play after shooting the "shot list" for whomever I am shooting for that day.

I only started doing it that way as the standard racing shot in the magazines always seemed to be slanted like that. So I tough.. what the heck.. I can do that too lol.
