same shot at larger resolution. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/gol...tographer.html

WOW I have been hit by flying car parts and dirt... had my lenses smeared from tire smoke... even fallen down a hill while attempting to shoot a golf match but a golf ball to the face? Well ok to the camera and then to his chest.. but still Tiger hits hard... that had to hurt.

and it looks like a Nikon with a Sigma lens Megan =)

Looks like a D3 to me. That body will survive anything ( with in reason ). I was hit dead on with a foul ball in baseball. It left me with a black eye but the camera still ticks along

I heard it was a D3S with a 24-70mm Nikkor. I was rooming with kafin8ed this weekend and he showed it to me and told me all the tech info.

Amazing image so often are just the luck of the draw and being prepared when the situation comes up. Right place right time. Nikon or Canon doesn't matter the guy behind it does.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

It says in the caption below:

For camera buffs, Pain was using a Nikon D3S camera, with a 24-70 mm lens and a shutter speed of 1/1000 of a second.
