Basketball.....

I keep forgetting that basketball is yearround here, I should remember after 7 years
Anyway these are from last nights Lions All Star that our county seniors play against a neighboring counties seniors. The girls game was fun to shoot as usual. The locals trailed until the final buzzer of regulation when a desperation three pointer tied the game (last shot of the girls) and sent it to OT. Then the girl in the second shot (in white) won it with two free throws with 2.5 seconds to go in OT. The boys game didn't go so well as they were soundly defeated. I couldn't stay long for that one as I had to pictures to the paper. I had pictures from a baseball game rto send in....nice deal though, three games, three checks, all at one school.

Thanks everyone.....I had to switch gears fast going from baseball 1 minute to basketball the next.

MonkeyWrench, These were all shot using the 1D MKIIN Canon 70-200 f2,8 IS and 580EX flash in fill flash mode. I think the settings were 200 shutter and 1600 ISO. I had to dial the flash down a tad due to the high ISO but overall it worked well. The flash is on camera.
