    Bad shoots

    So, last night was bad bad. lighting was beyond my n00bish talent. Dusk, hilly, lots of shadows and hot spots. Plus I was Riding & Shooting, so always moving, not having time to figure out the shot. And, as I mentioned sun setting, so the lighting could change in 2 minutes.

    Anyway, what do you do with bad shots... here is what I did..








    Here is a few that turned out sorta ok.

    I like what you did with them. They may not exactly be magazine quality or 20 x 30 poster material - but, it's a different take and still work for me.

    For some reason, the first image with the colors, motion blur, and scene remind me of the Bigfoot video that's out there.

    The black and white takes me back to college photography. I haven't really shot much BW using digital bodies. I think I'll have to start again though - this was motivating. Nice PS on it, but it looks like a little halo effect around his helmet and the tree line - dodging or shadow/highlight tool?
