    Autocross photos - published!

Woo hoo! I shot another autocross Sunday, and the Birmingham News sent a reporter out to do a story on the Alabama SCCA and the event. I've sold a few photos to the SCCA event chair, so he recommended I send the reporter some of my photos. He ended up using them in a follow-up article... seems he liked them. It's not going to be in print, but I'm excited nonetheless.

Cool, glad to hear they used some of your work. Nice pan there too.

Thanks JS! I was actually excited about the cloudy conditions because I knew I'd finally get a chance to get the shutter speeds low enough for some good pans. AX is at a much slower speed than track racing, so on sunny days even stopping way down doesn't get the shutter slow enough to give much of a pan effect.
