American Le Mans race - Aug 24 2008 - Mosport Park, Bowmanville, Ontario

After the meet and greet on Thursday I made room in my schedule to go and watch the race today. I found a nice little spot that let me get nice and close to the action without having to fight off tons of race fans to get what I wanted to shoot.

I got there in time for a 10 lap Local Celebrity Porsche challenge race before the real action began so I used them as my practice field. Then the clouds moved in and we got 20 min of rain which did not delay the race at all. When the checkered flag dropped there was not a drop of rain to be seen even though it remaind overcast for most of the afternoon.

Great work! I love watching the ALMS, so I'm glad to see some more shots of it on here. My favorite shot is definitely the Corvette coming over the crest, but all of these are excellent!

Thanks everyone. It definitely was a fun day of shooting. I definitely love the Acura shot with the almost blown out head lights but I am liking the corvette over the crest more and more. I have done several edits of both now too and each time they both get a little better =)
