What type of sports are you interested in shooting? Outdoor sports in daylight can be pretty "gear efficient", but if you are looking to shoot indoor sports or night action it can/does get a bit pricey.

well budget wise i wouldnt be able to spend no more than $600 which is nothing but i am just beginning so i dont need anything fancy. Im just looking to shot as much as possible but i would like to shoot triathlons, MMA, boxing, and soccer. I guess all around but right now if i had to zone it down it would be indoor sports.

    Ouch!
You would choose the most expensive to shoot.
Generally indoor sports have less light.
Which means you want large aperture lenses, that will blow your budget.

You're going to be compromising on the ISO speed (fast, noisy) and aperture (wide, less DoF) and shutter speed (slower than you might like) until you can afford a wide aperture (at least f/2.8) lens.

It's not impossible, but you will probably end up feeling hampered by the lens - not the camera body you choose.

BUT don't lose heart, even with a standard kit lens it's possible.
Look through the pictures of indoor sports form people posting here in the forum.
    Not everyone has an 80-200 f/2.8 of 70-200 f/2.8 !!

    Which to choose?
That really is a tough question.
Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Olympus, Sony Alpha ... all are capable.
Almost all professionals use Canon or Nikon.

But the new Pentax, Olympus, and Sony bodies are interesting because they have built-in image stabilisation (not in the lens like Canon and Nikon) and are approaching the speed of the other two brands.
