    1ST Meet of new season

It has been a while for gymnastics and it shows. I gotta get back "in shape" for this season... But I did want to share a few.. Not great, but I am excited to see the progression of these boys.

Could not get the color right, but I do like #2 for the "keeping an eye on the competition".

    Just a few to share...

The first image isn't bad although the background is a tad busy and the gymnast is a bit soft. The second and third images are very noisy and soft and the third has too busy of a background.

I am trying to find some noise software for Mac. I had Neat Image for windows and liked it. Got to look into some for my new computer....

    Thanks for the comments....

I thought about pulling the gymnast out of the pic in PS and putting it into a "blank" background, but have not yet.. I may try that...

My only suggestion is what someone passed on to me some time ago - get the image out of your camera and not through post processing. Once you get into some high volume work you don't want to spend your time editing and processing photographs, you want to spend it shooting. Get to know your camera and what it can do and what it's capabilities are like second nature and you'll get better images right out of the box.
