Great series John. Isn't it nice just to get out and take some pictures and not worry about timing and getting the decisive moment on the game winning play. Don't get me wrong I love the adrenaline rush of the sports world but I like to try and be a little artistic and take my time sometimes as well. Nice work.

Indeed, nice shooting. The hood ornament is one I'd like to have shot as part of a series I did a few years back! The reflection completes the composition.

Good interiors, especially the Robin's egg blue Ford. With the right shows and customers, car shows are a good gig.

It was definately different. I wasn't actually there for the car show part of it though, the paper had me there for the Horseshoes and Corn Hole....although they did end up using some from the car show too.
I liked that hood ornament too. But that robbins egg blue Ford isn't what it appears to be! It's a conglomeration of things and I guess you'd call it a Chord or a Fevy. It started as a 1948 Ford Roadster and had a Mustang II front clip added and an S10 Chevy rear clip and is powered by a 350 Chevy engine with a Turbo 350 trans. Pretty much a 50-50 mix of Ford and GM parts.

Some fabulous shots, John. We've had several vintage car shows around the area, and I haven't yet been able to get to any. I'd like to try some of them.

I am surprised though that no one mentioned the one shot of Robbins egg blue Ford and the fact that it has motocycle headlights That one caught me off guard too, and I didn't notice it untill I looked at the photo on the computer.
