Battery Grip for A100k

I have never heard of increased frame rate with a grip. Only uses I know of are for a second battery and to allow better control when shooting portrait format. - TF

I know on Nikon's you get a faster frame rate when you use the grip with AA batteries but I have no idea about the other mfg.'s. I did some Google searching and the only thing I can find is that you get longer runtimes due to the extra battery.
