I got the Minolta 3600 HS D flash for my digital bodies, my question is - it uses the same hot shoe mount as my Maxxum 5, will it work on a film body? I heard that using it on a film body can mess up the flash with the voltage being sent to it, but I didn't know if that applied to the Maxxum series AF flash systems. Even if it does work, I wont know if the flash synced right until I develop. Has anybody else tried this with success or failure?

It will work just find with your Maxxum 5. No worries.
