Whats up with the spam lately?

Seems like the spammers think its time to get us in the mood to start Christmas shopping since I'm seeing spam everywhere.

Wish I had the power to delete them instead of having to hit the ! each time I see them.

I'm wondering if there is anything more we can do other than delete them as they hit.

Where I spot a pattern, I let P-J know, he can do administrator magic to block persistent spamming abusers. Unfortunately the persistent ones sign up under a new name.

But we can't stop people signing up - we want new members !
