    PR just downloaded this program to my computer...

    Downloaded then this Notebook message popped up:

    xd_proxy[1].css

    .app_content_51546247891 a.uiLinkSubtle { display: none; }
    .app_content_51546247891 a.UIImageBlock_ICON_Image { display: none; }

    #bootloader_Zvucx { height: 42px; }

    Just to be clear, we don't download anything onto your computer. However, it's pretty standard for some advertisers to try to do this kind of thing. Usually it's a bit of code to track what you do - reasonably harmless but still ethically questionable. And we do not condone it.

    Can you tell me what page you were on when this happened? And any chance you might be able to remember what ads were showing at the top and the right?

    I'm sorry guys, I need some more information. Is this a virus software warning? The best way to help would be to give me a screenshot of the error/pop-up or whatever, with the rest of the page so I can see the ads. The ads aren't fixed for the page so you and I could be (probably are) seeing completely different banners. Plus, if it's a virus software warning, we all have different software and settings. I haven't seen anything so I need more info.

    Thanks!

    Re: PR just downloaded this program to my computer...

    OK,

    All during the day yesterday, I kept getting a warning across the top of my browser something like, 'IE has blocked a file this site is trying to download. Click for more information.' After many such warnings I decided to see what the file was so that I could report it. I clicked on the warning and it gave me three choices; one of which was some thing like, 'Download the file...' Since it had the dots after, which in Windows is SUPPOSE to mean that a dialog box will pop up before anything happens, I clicked it. The file downloaded and Notepad opened with the file name of:

    xd_proxy[1].css

    and the text:

    .app_content_51546247891 a.uiLinkSubtle { display: none; }
    .app_content_51546247891 a.UIImageBlock_ICON_Image { display: none; }

    #bootloader_Zvucx { height: 42px; }

    I immediately shut down and reset my hard drive (Norton Go Back) to 10 minutes ago.

    I saw the warning again this morning, but have not seen it this afternoon.

    That's all I have.

    I was getting the same situation Terry described above while clicking between posts on the Nature/Wildlife forum.

    #bootloader_Zvucx { height: 42px; }
    This is from a malformed AJAX script dealing with the Facebook plugin.

    It's just a CSS that hides the classes ".app_content_51546247891 a.uiLinkSubtle" and ".app_content_51546247891 a.UIImageBlock_ICON_Image" and sets the element ID "#bootloader_Zvucx" to 42 pixels.

    It's harmless.
