    Size of pictures?????

Has something changed that will not let us post a picture bigger than about 3x5 in the forums? I do not seem to be able to do it any more, Jeff

    Re: Size of pictures?????

We haven't changed any settings for the forums, Jeff. To make sure, I just uploaded a photo at my standard size. The diminension limit is still 800 pixels on the long dimension and I think the file size limit is 250k. Did you get an error or what? What are the exact symptoms of your photos not posting? Are you sure they fit the restrictions I just listed? Do you have a new monitor or have you changed your monitor resolution settings?

John, they are posting just fine but I can't seem to be able to get them to show up on my screen bigger than about 3x5 and I have a 27inch screen. Yes I am making the longer side 800 just like I have always done, Jeff

Is this a new monitor for you, Jeff? This sounds like a screen resolution issue to me. The pixel dimensions of the images haven't changed but if you've got a bigger monitor running at a higher resolution then then images will display smaller. What screen resolution are you running?

2560x1440 is what my resolution is. A while back my son ask me why I wasn't using all my screen and I had changed it so each window would fill up the 27inch screen I have. Higher res. smaller picture. Thanks, Jeff

    You got it

I am thinking that enough people are running bigger monitors at higher resolutions that it might be time to bump things up again. I'll admit that one of the reasons I haven't is that I like lower resolutions and I don't like setting up my Web photos larger than 800 pixels. But to accomodate people with tastes different from mine, maybe I'll increase the photo size to 1000 pixels.
