Is this site getting slower and slower?

Although this has never been the fastest loading site, lately it seems to be getting slower and slower and slower. I have high speed cable, but this site acts like it's working on dialup, or is it just that my PC doesn't like this site? This used to be the first site I went to each day, but now I look thru all the other ones first because I know once I get here, I'd better have patience and do a lot of refreshing.

The last few weeks I agree it seems to be getting slower and slower. Don't know if it is due to increased traffic or what but it is getting terribly slow.

same here since I've been using it, it seems to be lagging out. a few times it didn't even load

I've had the same problem both at work & at home. Its mostly the forums that are loading slow for me. A couple times its sat there for a good 30-40 seconds, I'll hit stop, and reload and then the forums pop up

I have been noticing it getting very slow and have just tested my download speed at
2.9 MBPS and 256 KBPS upload so it is not my computer, Jeff

I was just about to post this same question after playing several games of solitaire while waiting for it to load.
This morning I took a shower, filled the bird feeders, and fixed breakfast while waiting for it to load.

This is the first time I've been able to even get on PR in the morning for a while. For the past couple of days it has taken a couple of minutes - and even longer (I just gave up).

I agree, the past few weeks it's been much slower, but the last few days, I've given up many times. Actually this morning I tried a few times just to post this message. I couldn't get into VF.

Seems to be working faster today. Keep your fingers crossed. I think the slowness has effected the number of post we have been getting the last week or so.

Here is the same history, extremely slow, maybe is too many users and visitors logged at the same time, or maybe it got hijacked, it happened to anther forum I belong to.

I figure they just need to go in and clean up the database, I do it to my own website when it gets going slow and it usually does the trick.

It's not a computer problem. The problem is on our end. I have been reporting it and applying pressure in order to get the problem solved. Thanks for hanging in there while we look for a way to get the speed back to normal. And if it makes you feel better, I'm suffering right along with the rest of you
