Problem editing my post

Each time I post something I bring it up and read it again to see if it makes sense or something needs to be added or changed. Recently if I go back in I can no longer change or add a picture, add colors to lettering or do much of anything without completely deleting the post and starting over. It kinda defeats the edit option. Can we get this changed back like it use to be? Jeff

I'm not aware of any changes, Jeff. When did you notice the change? Do you have the "Go Advanced" button? You always had to press that if you wanted all the edit options. Try that and see if that does what you want. If it doesn't let me know and I'll take a closer look.

If I try and "edit" any of my posts by clicking on "edit" then "go advanced", the only thing I CAN do is add or delete letters. I cannot change anything else including adding, deleting or changing a picture, Jeff

Some things I cannot do............

make something bold, underlined or italicized, change font colors

change, delete or add pictures. The option to add or download pictures is not even there.

After I click on the GO ADVANCED button I cannot do any of the options that show up above my post. If I highlight something to change, when I press on what I want to do, such as make it bold the highlight goes away and nothing happens.

Edit - tried to bold 'problem'.

Edit2 - worked and I didn't even go to Advanced.

Edit 3 - Made 'Advanced' bold the next day.

So my robot friend and Terry were both able to edit posts. That means something else is going on here. The only other thing I can think of is the time limit. There's a time limit on editing your posts. It's to keep people honest. You can edit immediately after you post but then after ten minutes or so you can't edit it anymore. Could that explain the problem you're having?

I believe the limit is 24 hours (much longer than 10 minutes), but then you cannot change anything. Maybe his Mod status allows partial chage after 24 hours or something like this?????? - Terry

Sorry for off topic post, the worst thing about this forum is in every section when I try to post it says you must need 5 posts to start a new topic that's made me doing posts like this.
