Photos not in my gallery

I just took a look at my gallery and pictures that I posted December 22 are not there. Are we having trouble? Jeff

Did you upload them directly to the gallery or did you post them in the forums? Photos uploaded to the forums have not been consistently showing up the gallery for quite some time now. But if you uploaded to the gallery and they've disappeared, that's different. It does happen every once in a while, though. Please give me some more information so I can better evaluate the problem.

Ok, like I said, that's a known problem. There's a periodic disconnect between the forums and gallery and my experience is that the photos only make it to the gallery about 30% of the time. And unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about it. Personally, if the photos are important and they don't show up in the gallery when I post on the forums, I upload them again to the gallery myself.

Sorry for the hassle and the inadequate response. We've got a bunch of other higher priority projects at the moment and the forum / gallery issue keeps getting pushed aside. The bottom line is we need a whole new gallery system and that's likely to happen sometime this year. Probably before the forums problem gets fixed.
