University volleyball action...

Some pics I got scanned of some past University of Alberta volleyball games I shot at.

Shot with available light with an EOS 3 and 135mm f2.0L, film was Illford HP5 pushed to ISO 1600. Cropped, resized, and levels adjusted in Photoshop.


I kept the net in this picture thinking it would give a reference point on where the action was happening. You can see some other photographers in this one too!

TWU! TWU! Almost upsetted U of A in the finals in Quebec. Nice shooting, and hopefully next few years I'll be on one of those teams!!

Thanks for the compliment! Ya, these were from the last home games for the Bears and Pandas. The CIS National Championship game was a good one for sure! Good luck with your volleyball aspirations!
