    A Truly Ugly Picture

    I don't know why ...but I felt like making an UGLY HDR ...I hope it's repulsive Comments?

    It actually kinda looks like a toy. The saturation is definitely too high, but I think you could have done better if you were really going for ugly.
    mostly Nikon gear

    Pretty damn cool. The heavy-handed HDR works really well in this case.

    I absolutely HATE overdone HDR, but in this case...I actually like it. haha.

    I'm still trying to figure out why I find this picture so fascinating. I think rather than the processing, its the subject matter. I find it incredulous that the powers that be should want to send troops into harms way in a death trap like that. So I guess I find your treatment rather apt.

    I agree the heavy HDR works for this because it makes it much more frightening. I still wish the image was darker even witih the strong HDR. to give it much more scariness.
