    Great Salt Lake

    Welcome to the forums!
    As this is the critique forum, the first things that come to mind are that it looks pretty blown out on the right...and what's that black dot in the middle?
    mostly Nikon gear

    Feel free to edit my images for critique, just let me know what you did.

    Theres a ton of lens flare, and the hue of the sky is way off, it has some decent graduation up part way through the sky, then it turns into blotchyness, and - the hot white and the black dot.

    Thanks for the help guys! The picture got a little distorted when I readjusted the size, but I'm still very new at this so your comments are very useful

    Welcome to PhotographyREVIEW.com! I am always happy to see another Utah photographer here. Our headquarters (mine, at least) are in SLC.

    Did you take this photo from the causeway? Did you shoot it from a moving car? What kind of camera? Any post-processing? I want some more background info on this image before I offer any criticism.

    Utah is a beautiful place! I took this just off the freeway in the pull off just before the tooele exit. I was not in the car and I was using a Nikon P100.
