    Golden Gate Bridge

I took these a couple nights ago after work. It was a clear warm night in SF, hard to come by....

Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks!

I like the first one. You might try a WB adjustment to cool it off and PS the second light on the top of the first support, turn it on. Nice work.

Thanks for the feedback Greg. I am curious what you mean by "cool it off" though?

Good catch with the light, I hadn't even noticed that!

If you shot in RAW you can change the WB making it a little bluer.

    Re: Golden Gate Bridge

I like them both but for different reasons.

The way the light plays off the foreground tower is different enough in each photo to give the bridge a distinct feel. The bridge lights almost overpower the bridge in the second image because of the blur and bloom.

White Balance alone may not be the only adjustment, try shifting the Color Temp also if you have software capable of doing that type of adjustment.

Either one of these in a large version could be very impressive I am quite convinced! Classic shot.

Thanks! Actually I am taken the original size files into Ritz on Monday to see how big of prints I can get out of these, without losing too much clarity. After I do some adjustments that is.

Greg, do either of these 2 work? I notice when I edit the color, I lose some sharpness. That can't be good

I like the 2nd last shot. Such a classic scene.

    Re: Golden Gate Bridge

Josh, I like the color of the sky better in the second series because it looks more like evening light rather than a light smog, however I don't think it is worth the cost of the lost clarity in the original. The original #1 image is my favorite.

    Re: Golden Gate Bridge

I got the edits how I wanted them, added a hint more blue as seen below, and went and got a 20x30 print made of this. Looks awesome, very sharp! Probably a Xmas gift for mom..

    Thanks again for the help/feedback!

EDIT: It's not coming out very sharp here at all, think of the sharpness of the original "hazy pic" and the coloring of this one. That's what I ended up with
