    Light through a wandering jew

    It almost does but I think it needs more detail in the shadow.

    Thanks Frog,

    Tried playing with it in lightroom, but I think I made it too washed out now.

    Took a few more of it today. It is a pretty plant.

    I've always liked a flared sun coming through in a shot like that. One technique to experiment with might be a little fill flash since of course your subject would always be backlit in a situation like that. Not easy to do, but in this situation it just might work (you need a small aperture for the flare so the flash working distance won't be very far).

    It's great that you're sharing your work here in Viewfinder and we're always happy to see that. But if you're looking specifically for a critique, it would be best to post in that forum.
