Its gettin to be close to the end of the year, and I thought it would be fun (OK, I saw it on another web site!) if we all posted our favorite images from 2007. I may have to add one or two since I'll be going to a Cyclocross race this weekend

Here are a few of my favorites from this year. In no particular order

#1: the final pace lap before the start of the Brickyard 400 - sad to say but this shooting location isn't the same anymore as the track has changed for the motocycle race and this whole area was wiped out

#2: Toney's first pit stop

#3: Evil Eye - Danica gives Sarah Fisher the evil eye

#4: Pole or no pole?

#5: A light please.....:thumbsup:

Thanks SW I stood there for an hour and a half just shooting drivers as they were preparing to qualify on Pole Day. I had three that really stood out from the rest, two of Danica and this one of Dario. The nice thing about this was it was before his first attempt, but it worked whether he won the pole or not.... and as it turned out....

Oh, I threw one of my other favorites in here too, one of the friendly Yellow Shirts :thumbsup:

Hi...New to the forum and thought I'd post a few here as I'm heavily involved in Sports photography among other types (Nature and Entertainment)...

Had a great year as the Team Photographer for USA Canoe / Kayak and especially enjoyed the Whitewater events...a few of my personal favorites below...

Just came back from the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing / Billabong Pipeline Championship in Hawaii...I was there to teach seminars but you know how it is...I managed to get some shooting in anyways...Here's a slightly different take on the event

Just a couple from me. Colonnade bike park opening was a BIG DEAL for the local mtn.bike club. First shot is from that. Second I made it out to the local dirt track.

#3 Tony Stewart's Last lap in the lead before wrecking at the Daytona 500 Feb 17th 2007

#4 - Andrew Rangers first lap in the lead before winning the NASCAR Canadian Tire series innagural race at Mosport on Fathers day.

#5 - Not really a sports shot but my fav shot of my car taken at dawn with the Toronto Skyline as my backdrop.

Wow. So many amazing photos. I really enjoy the surfing and mtb ones.

I need to expand my horizons.

My son politely placing the ball where the sun doesn't shine. ;)


This shot is a different crop from above and ended up being my favorite shot of my son's summer season. This one was done in honor of PAul who didn't like the yellow guard on the fence.


Liked this one because I can see into this guy's soul and because of the reflection of Qwest Field in his helmet.


Another from Qwest Field. A little soft, but I love how you can see the QB's team looking at him.


I used to be a gymnast and take full credit for his limberness. lol

Wow, everybody was real busy last year! Awesome work, Guys....I know its April already but I will gather up my best 2007 and post too! Although, mine wont quite compare to what I have seen here! cant wait to see 2008.
