This is very cool. I love the three towers in the middle...and I almost wish it was ONLY the three colored towers, with just the shorter buildings in the background. But obviously you can't do anything about that!!
    I like this anyhow though.

Very nice scene here, Yoyo. The structures look like giant candle lanterns and the tower like structure on the right looks like a giant candle. . .to me. the colors are soft and pleasing. Almost looks unreal. . .and then below it the columns and the station platform bringing back a real scene. I like the mood brought by the columns and the shadows. Clear and sharp. . a very interesting night scene.

Simple, elegant and, as always, strictly composed. Your lack of "clutter" and choice of perspective are most likely a close representation of what the architect intended.

this is a great photo yoyo,

agree with gary, in that it has an almost surreal feel to it, (with regard to the three centre coloured pieces), but then you are grounded, and brought back to reality by the grey concrete behind.

    Lovely work, colours are great.

    cheers

Hi Emily, Thanks for the comment and the suggestion. You are right about the tower. The removal of it would deliver a focus on the three shorter structures.

Hi Gary, Thanks for the in-depth analysis of the shot. The lanterns bring a lively atmosphere to the vast station.

Hi Tuna, Thanks for the analysis and the kind words.

Hi anew, Thanks for your appreciation.

Hi Starriderrick, Thanks for the kind words.

Hi DJM, Thanks for the kind words.

This is a good one Yoyo, wish you had strepped to the right like 3 steps though to make the distant tower stand out more but that is only a wish.

I bet this would look good printed on matte paper.
