    Cold Night no.1a

Here is an alternate take of the first picture I have posted (Tim, you might prefer that one).
I overlooked that one at first because I was more or less satistied with the tilt and the tighter crop.

This one was color corrected with WB for set for tungsten.

I like the angle on this one better Seb. It seems to me more like movement than just blur.

    Nice job...

    Re: Cold Night no.1a

    Hi Seb,

First off, I typed that last post while I was in a hurry to get away from work. So, I apologize if it came off cold or harsh. Not my intent. I certainly didn't mean to insinuate that your shot was "newbie". I've just seen a lot of unintended blurry night photos (some of them made by me!). So, please forgive me. I do get a lot out of the back and forth from these critiques.

I think your 2nd shot is much stronger with the two phantom images -- kind of reminds me quantum mechanics (geez, does that pigeon-hole me?). Correcting for tungsten also helps out.

    Cheers,
    Tim

Howdy Tim, there is no need to apologize. You made valids point which I believe will help me to give a direction to this kind of photographs in the future.

    regards
