Question about Canon SELPHY CP400 photo printer

Does anybody know if the Canon SELPHY CP400 photo printer is compatible with the Canon PowerShot A70 digital camera?

I've been looking for a compatibility chart for the printer, but haven't been able to find one.

I'll assume you just want to be able to connect the camera directly to the printer and print pictures without needing to get a computer involved.

Unfortunately, that link doesn't list the printer you're asking about.

Are you sure there's a model called "selphy cp400"? I see a DS700 but not a CP400.

The DS700 uses PictBridge and Canon Direct Print technology. Based on what I am reading here http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canona70/page2.asp the A70 supports Canon's Direct Print technology.

Unfortunately, I can't find any infornation for a CP400.

But please don't take my assumptions as fact. I would call Canon directly (they have 1-800 numbers I think) and ask them your exact question.
