I called Canon and the rep told me that It doesn't have this feature because the camera uses it's own type of jpeg, and the firmware only reads that type of jpeg, so that means that if someone can hack the firmware it might work. I've tried using software to restore all the Exif info on the modified pic and it still din't work.
I do still recommend the camera, it has so many features and takes great pics, all the controls can be manually set, and while RAW wo9uld be great it isn't really needed, If you're good at photoshop you can modify the pics and get just as good results as with RAW. It's like an Ipod, the front of the camera scratches easily and attracts fingerprints and dust like you wouldn't believe.
It would be great to find a solution to this problem, but it's just a minor issue since I use it to shoot HDRI's. Can anyone hack the firmware?
