    Picture Window Pro- Anybody?

I have seen this software mentioned a few places, and one of the people I work with has started using it. I've tried it and it seems to be quite powerful, certainly for the cost.

Anyone know of any gotchas or other good/bad issues?

    Thanks -

I use PW Pro and like it a lot. One disavantage is that it doesn't work like PhotoShop! It can take a while to figure out how to do some of the same things. However, there are many detailed papers o the web site that go from simple to complex. The support board is very active with developers, including Sachs, answering questions quickly.

By the way, the latest upgrade has been posted.

    Michael,

Thanks for the notes! I've notice that there appears to be quite a bit of information available and rather well done articles/white papers.

So far, there seems to be a lot more power and facility available in terms of editing compared to PSE3 which is the point of the testing. Several older notebooks that it is not cost effective to upgrade to make them reasonable to use with CS2. Plus 4 more CS2 licenses are quite a bit more investment.

The advance sharpen/noise reduction menu took a bit of getting use to as it looks like at first you're doing one thing but its the other(?). Then you see the tabs.

I do like the color balancing and PW curves once I figured it out. I've read virtually all the docs that are posted and edited pretty intensely 7 photos and printed them. Another week or so and I'll probably buy at least one or two copies.

Thanks again for the comment -

Anybody else have any experience with Picture Window Pro or Picture Window software?
