As I hang out on this site, and look through the many posts I am constantly learning newer and better ways to do things. One thing that I have been focusing on are my digital B&W conversions. I have been experimenting lately with quite a few techniques for this process and I have recently come across the one that I think has given me the most control yet. The Channel Mixer in PS7. This tool has been a Godsend in just the few days I have been toying with it. I only wish I had tried it sooner.
Below you will see two versions of the same image. The first was converted back when I was simply desaturating my images, the second I made tonight using the channel mixer. I am by no mean an expert with this tool, but I think the change will be obvious even to the most novice of imagers.
